Evelyn Kpadeh Seagbeh

Evelyn Kpadeh Seagbe has more than 12 years experience reporting in the field and in newsrooms. She has won three journalism awards. She’s passionate about storytelling and reporting on underreported communities. Evelyn joined New Narratives in 2018 as part of our West Africa Justice Reporting Project and has since joined Climate Change, Extractives and Democracy Reporting projects.

Evelyn reported for Anadolu Agency-the Turkish News Agency from 2014 to March 2018 as Liberia correspondent. She currently corresponds for Radio Deutsche Welle (Africa) as Liberia correspondent. Evelyn’s extensive experience reporting on the suffering of women and girls persuaded him to found the non-profit Just a Girl Initiative, which empowers young commercial sex workers, teenage mothers, single mothers and promising young Liberian women and girls who lack opportunities.

Tetee Gebro

Tetee Gebro returns to NN after six years as Deputy Director General at ELBC, Liberia’s state broadcaster. She is a member of the board of directors of New Narratives Liberia. Tetee is a highly regarded reporter and presenter in Liberia who launched her own show talk show Okay Liberia, in 2016 on Okay FM. She was a reporter with our Thomson Reuters Oil Reporting program and did extensive reporting for Front Page Africa on the failed Corporate Responsibility projects undertaken by the National Oil Company of Liberia.

Tetee reported for the BBC Media Action's Kick Ebola from Liberia. From 2011 – 2015 she was a presenter/reporter with Sky FM  and SkyTV.  Tetee joined NN in  2011 when her courageous reporting brought recognition and acclaim.
